Studio Newborn Portrait Session for the Fischer Family –
When Evelyn was about two weeks new, Emily & Josh (one of my bride & grooms from 2016!) brought her in for a studio newborn session! Evelyn was sooo itty bitty at about 6 or 6.5 pounds! We stuck with neutrals for the most part with a couple pops of olive green. Olive green tends to photograph well with all skin tones and is great for boys & girls (I’m not about gender-assigned colors like baby blue or baby pink – we can think outside the box haha!). Towards the end of her newborn portrait session, we photographed Evelyn in a little basket with some earthier tones. She totally reminded me of a tiny woodland pixie and even gave us one big SMILE! At the very end you’ll see that Evelyn started wiggling around & waking up a bit with these silly faces. Very appropriate for her “Born to be Wild” sign! Of course I always include any amusing bloopers in my proofing galleries for my clients, and go figure Emily & Josh selected those two to be included in their gallery haha! Hope these portraits don’t give you baby fever too bad! ;P
