Uniting a Wisconsinite to his Texan bride at a Driftwood Texas wedding….
I don’t know how I’m going to properly describe this Driftwood, Texas wedding. So much happened while I was there! I guess I can start with how absolutely lovelyyy the Stonehouse Villa was along with their grounds! The sunlight was top notch during Joel & Katie’s portraits so between that and their epic “happy dances” (note first photo haha!) it was a photographer’s dream. 🙂 There were so many little moments throughout the day too! Katie grabbing & squeezing her little brother’s face when she first saw him the morning of. Joel helping his little nephew get dressed in his itty bitty suit. Butt pinches during First Looks along with some of the best reactions. Sweet private time with letter readings. An ecstatic flower girl soaking in “her time” while she walked down the aisle. A little white stool hilariously presented to aid Katie & Joel’s First Kiss. Expressive grand entrances to a reception full of family & close friends. A First Dance to a song the groom sang & recorded himself. Grandparents tearing up the dance floor followed by a choreographed dance between the bride & her brother that would’ve knocked your socks off if you had seen it. Stunning nighttime portrait opportunities under lantern-lit trees and finally a sparkler sendoff with a Porsche Boxter as a get-away car. Whew! It was a grand day and I was so thankful to be apart of it & to witness such a glowing & happy love that Joel & Katie share. 🙂 Leave a comment for the couple below if you love the images! 🙂
