A Pet-Friendly Family Portrait Session in Richfield, WI –
Pet-friendly family portraits, anyone?? Everyone needs to know that while I love working with people, I adore when they include their pets in their family portraits. After all, they’re part of the family too!
Anyways, as you can imagine, I was absolutely jazzed when Kasey told me that they were including their four dogs. Before the session, we discussed bringing treats or a squeaker toy to grab their attention, and the Hermansons brought their dogs to the park the day before the session so that the dogs could at least be a little familiar with their surroundings. (This definitely helps dogs focus at least a little better!) Due to some tough scheduling, the Hermanson family opted for a sunrise session with me (a hidden blessing since it stormed shortly after!). Despite the early-rising, this family absolutely rocked their session. And, no, I don’t think it was just due to coffee or energy drinks – there are some pretty tight family bonds here. Hopefully you’ll get the sense of the Hermanson’s spunky, tight-knit relationships from the photos below!
