Rustic Terrace 167 Wedding in Richfield, WI –

Jade & Jacob hosted their wedding at the rustic Terrace 167 wedding venue in Richfield, WI. Jade & Jacob are both “life of the party” people. They’re kind, amiable, talkative, and quick to laugh. What is incredible is that they’ve been together since they were THIRTEEN, but still act towards each other like they’re still in the “honeymoon phase”. I’ve never seen a groom have as strong of a reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle as Jacob – it was so sweet. He was feelin’ the emotions well before the procession even started and an aunt had to pass him a few Kleenexes haha! After a short n’ sweet ceremony, Jade & Jacob ended their ceremony with a butterfly release. Or rather…a butterfly ejection. Everyone laughed when Jade dumped them all out since none of the butterflies seemed to want to take flight.

After a hefty-yet-thoughtful family portrait list (I joked with Jade that she beat my record for longest family list haha!), the bridal party headed out to Glacier Hills County Park for the rest of the portraits. Nothing like an open summer field, a grove of pine trees, and a new Dodge Challenger for some memorable photos! The night kicked off with the dance floor and a freshly “iced” groom (compliments of Jade’s “rolled ankle” that needed her hubby’s attention), and Jade & Jacob slipped away for some sunset portraits before I dipped for the night.
