Waukesha County Family Portrait Session at Fox River Sanctuary –
Nothing like taking some Waukesha family portraits after little Anika’s first day of school! (Totally by accident!) Turns out Anika & Helena can still turn on the smiles & expel some energy despite it being an end-of-the-day portrait session. These little blonde beauts were bouncing around under the last glimmers of sunshine like little colorful pixies. I loved being able to capture some of their childish playfulness under such beautiful light! Towards the end of the session the girls were pretty tired of being posed with mom n’ dad (as much as they love them!) so we (literally) took a roll in the grass. Their cute little expressions were a great ending to the photoshoot! Hopefully, these two will grow up to treasure these photos especially the candids of Helena playing with Anika’s hair. If that isn’t a snapshot of classic sisterhood then I don’t know what is haha! Downtown Waukesha, I’m sure I’ll be seeing you for more family portraits soon! <3
